Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee and manage the accounts payable operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and maintain strong internal controls. You will lead the accounts payable team, streamline processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations.


Key Responsibilities:


- Manage the day-to-day accounts payable functions including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team to achieve departmental goals.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Review and approve payment requests, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.

- Resolve discrepancies and issues related to invoices and payments promptly.

- Maintain vendor relationships and respond to vendor inquiries professionally.

- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and other departments to optimize payment processes.

- Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports and metrics for management.

- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

- Implement process improvements and automation to increase efficiency.

- Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounts payable transactions.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, accounting principles, and internal controls.

- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
