Position Overview:
The Manager - Accounts will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting and reporting processes of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies. Ensuring timely closure of Quarterly accounts and Limited Reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting standards (INDAS) and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review detailed account reconciliations and variance analyses.
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Ensure the maintenance of effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and efficient completion of audit processes.
- Monitor adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and financial controls to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Monitor financial performance and provide insights on cost control, revenue enhancement, and profitability improvement.
Financial Analysis & Strategic Support
- Provide in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, sales, management) to interpret financial data and support business initiatives.
- Provide insights into trends, risks, and opportunities, contributing to the overall financial strategy of the organization.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant minimum 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in accounting or finance, preferably audited by a BIG 4 audit firm.
- Hands-on experience in SAP.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
