Category Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a Category Manager - Food Delivery to lead and scale our food delivery vertical across partner apps on the ONDC network and beyond.
This is a high-ownership, cross-functional role that blends partnership management, category strategy, business building, and data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with buyer apps, internal operations, product, and tech teams to drive adoption and growth. While this is not an engineering role, a working understanding of technology is essential for effective coordination and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities1. Category Growth: Own the growth of the food delivery vertical across partner apps by driving high-leverage initiatives, building scalable processes, and managing daily operations.
2. Partnerships: Build and nurture strong relationships with buyer apps and ecosystem stakeholders; act as the single point of contact for scaling joint business opportunities.
3. Tech Coordination: Understand key workflows and integration points; work with internal product/engineering teams to troubleshoot, prioritize, and resolve issues.
4. Strategy & Growth: Shape business growth plans and GTM strategies with partner apps to drive adoption, maximize success, and expand category impact.
5. Data & Insights: Track category performance, identify actionable insights, and monitor KPIs such as order volume, success rate, repeat usage, and GMV.
6. Problem Solving: Anticipate and resolve operational, tech, or partnership roadblocks by working cross-functionally.
