About the Role
M2P Fintech is seeking a Technical Project Manager who combines strong project management skills with a solid background in software development. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as a developer, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, and a proven track record of delivering technology projects in the banking or fintech sector.
What Will You Do in this Role
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of technology projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define scope, set priorities, and track milestones.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for stakeholders.
- Oversee sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile/Scrum activities.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
- Ensure technical feasibility by engaging with development teams and contributing to high-level architecture discussions.
- Remove roadblocks which helps team focus on sprint deliverables and highlight blockers, sprint delivery progress to leadership team.
- Drive execution across all project phases-initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Maintain thorough documentation and generate status reports for internal and client-facing communications.
What You'll Need to be Successful in this Role
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven hands-on development experience (minimum 3 years) in any programming languages (.net, C/C++, Java, Python, Node.js, etc.).
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management roles.
- Prior experience in the banking or fintech domain is preferred.
- Fair understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern tech stacks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- High level of enthusiasm about helping and serving clients, strong customer, and solution-oriented personality.
- Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
- PMP, CSM, or other project management certifications is preferrable
- Experience working with cross-functional distributed teams.
