About the Role:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Merchandiser to join our team and support the planning, coordination, and execution of seasonal assortments. You'll work closely with buying, supply chain, store ops, and vendor partners to ensure the right products reach the right channels at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Range Planning & Assortment:
- Collaborate with the buying team to develop seasonal product ranges aligned with brand vision and customer demand.
- Plan and manage product assortments by category, store format, and target customer segment.
2. Inventory & Allocation Management:
- Forecast demand and track sales to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Oversee allocation and replenishment strategies across retail and e-commerce channels.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and distribution.
3. Sales & Performance Analysis:
- Monitor sales performance, sell-through rates, and markdowns.
- Analyze data to identify trends, bestsellers, and slow-moving products.
- Generate weekly/monthly reports on key KPIs like revenue, margins, OTB (open-to-buy), and inventory turnover.
4. Vendor & Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Liaise with vendors and production teams to ensure timely product readiness and deliveries.
- Coordinate with store teams to ensure smooth execution of merchandising strategies across locations.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in merchandising.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
- Working knowledge of merchandising metrics and retail math.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Exposure to both offline and online retail is a plus.
