Role Description:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, architects, interior designers, lighting consultant and other stakeholders in the lighting industry.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the lighting industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and generating leads, to drive revenue growth.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to the sales team to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to support sales initiatives and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the lighting industry or related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
