Lotus Interworks - Financial Controller

US SHIFT 7pm IST to 4am IST.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working with US clients, be proficient in QuickBooks, and possess a deep understanding of US GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

- Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.

- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and tax filings.

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

- Work closely with US clients and internal stakeholders for financial planning and analysis.

- Handle financial audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.

- Maintain QuickBooks accounts and ensure accurate financial data entry and reporting.

- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).

- 5+ years of proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.

- Strong knowledge and application of US GAAP.

- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and related financial tools.

- Previous experience working with US clients is a must.

- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

Nice to Have:

- Experience in a SaaS or tech-driven environment.

- Exposure to AI/automation-related projects or startups.
