Logistics Head - Mattress/Home Furnishing Industry

We are looking for a reliable Logistics Head for the overall supply chain management.

Responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods.

The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure cost control & customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services

- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle

- Identify, liaise and negotiate with transporters / brokers / 3PL's / vendors / rental agreements / labour & hamali / etc.

- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency

- Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments

- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets

- Vendor/transporter rating & new vendor/transporter onboarding

- Maintaining logistics cost benchmarks by improving on vehicle load ability / primary & secondary freight optimization / return freight management / contracts negotiation / etc.

- Track &Maintain Service Level metrics for maximum customer delight

- Maintain proper documentation; comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements

- Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reporting & MIS

Requirements

- A total experience of 10+ years

- Proven working experience as a logistics manager

- Record of successful distribution and logistics management

- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff

- Proficient in standard logistics software

- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects

- BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain

- Good Knowledge in MS Office

- Good Knowledge in SAP (SD & MM)
