Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our team at LoansJagat.com. The Data Scientist will play a crucial role in analyzing complex data, driving actionable insights, and driving data-driven decision-making across various departments. This role is perfect for someone with a strong statistical background, experience in machine learning, and an understanding of the BFSI (Banking,

Financial Services, and Insurance) sector, although experience in other industries is also welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

- Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large sets of structured and unstructured data from various sources to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.

- Model Development: Build and implement predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical models to support business initiatives.

- Data Visualization: Develop interactive dashboards and visual reports to present insights and findings to key stakeholders in an understandable and actionable manner.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, product managers, and engineers, to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.

- Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business strategies and initiatives.

- Optimization: Use data to optimize operational processes, enhance decision-making, and improve customer experience.

- Reporting: Present and explain data analysis results to senior leadership, translating complex data findings into actionable recommendations.

- Data Management: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all systems, maintaining high standards for data governance.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5-8 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a similar role.

- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and familiarity with machine learning libraries like TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or similar.

- Expertise in data manipulation, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis.

- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

- Experience with data wrangling, cleaning, and processing to prepare datasets for analysis.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical data in a simple and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
