Are you a seasoned credit professional with a proven track record in credit underwriting and large-ticket-size deals? Do you have expertise in underwriting for large NBFCs and a deep understanding of the investment and lending markets? If yes, we would love to hear from you!

Role Overview:

As VP/AVP - Credit, you will play a critical role in managing and driving the credit underwriting function at LiquiLoans. You will work closely with stakeholders to assess, structure, and approve high-value transactions, ensuring sound credit practices and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the credit underwriting process for large-ticket-size deals.

- Evaluate and underwrite credit proposals in line with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

- Assess financial health, business models, and risk profiles of borrowers, especially large NBFCs.

- Develop and implement robust credit appraisal frameworks to support investment decisions.

- Work closely with the risk, business, and investment teams to maintain a balanced risk-return approach.

- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to inform credit decisions.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including NBFCs, financial institutions, and rating agencies.

- Strong experience in credit underwriting, preferably in the NBFC/financial services sector.

- Demonstrated expertise in evaluating large-ticket-size transactions.

- In-depth understanding of NBFC credit risk assessment.

- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

- Knowledge of the investment market and lending ecosystem.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
