Life Pharmacy - General Manager - Retail Operations

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager - Retail Operations to lead and oversee our retail business operations across the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of retail management, and expertise in pharma and related product segments. You will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, sales growth, and customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement effective retail strategies to achieve business goals.

- Lead and manage all retail operations including sales, inventory, merchandising, and customer service.

- Oversee store performance, optimize sales, and ensure excellent customer experience.

- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards.

- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to drive operational excellence.

- Build, motivate, and mentor a high-performing retail team.

- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.

- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Pharmacy, or related field (MBA preferred).

- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in retail operations management, preferably in pharma, health, or beauty sectors.

- Proven track record of managing multi-store operations and driving business growth.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Good knowledge of UAE market regulations and retail compliance.

- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
