Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Program Manager to lead multiple projects within the telecom sector, with a strong focus on government-sector engagements.
- This role requires excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills to ensure successful project delivery.
- You will work closely with clients-primarily in the government sector-to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure timel completion of projects.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY:
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent telecom projects from initiation through completion.
- Work extensively with government agencies to align project goals, obtain clearances, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the key liaison between government clients and internal teams, translating requirements into clear tasks.
- Build strong relationships with government stakeholders and manage expectations at every project stage.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams including site managers, field engineers, and subcontractors.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality metrics across all active projects.
- Identify project risks, handle escalations, and implement timely resolutions.
- Monitor and report project progress to senior leadership and government clients regularly.
- Ensure smooth field operations and on-site coordination with site personnel.
- Provide mentoring and oversight to project teams to maintain high-performance standards.
-Experience with GIS/location-based software projects is a strong plus.
QUALIFICATION & SKILLSET:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in project or program management within the telecom industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing government-sector projects.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale telecom infrastructure projects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement, especially with public sector bodies.
- Experience managing field operations and geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage project escalations.
- Willingness to travel extensively for project execution and client coordination.
- Experience with GIS or location-based software projects is desirable.
- MP or equivalent project management certification is desirable.
