Lead - Retention (Creator Growth)
- The Lead - Creator Growth will be responsible for identifying different creator segments, optimizing their growth, and leading a team focused on retention and management.
- This role will drive community engagement, streamline on-boarding-to-growth processes, and ensure creator success through data-driven strategies.
- The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of social media, affiliate marketing, and creator ecosystems, coupled with strong leadership and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify different creator segments by analyzing behavior and data points, setting up an algorithm-driven process for rapid growth.
Develop acquisition strategies:
- Where to onboard?
- Who to onboard?
- How to onboard?
- Lead and motivate a team of 10-20 retention managers, creating structured workflows for daily operations.
- Establish a creator consulting process with the team of retention managers to efficiently manage a large volume of creators through a one-to-many approach.
- Research, develop and implement training modules, webinars, and activities to scale up creators efficiently.
- Design and manage the end-end process from creator onboarding, growth, and retention until they transition to the Key Account Management (KAM) team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with creators to foster trust and long-term engagement.
- Integrate affiliate marketing insights with social media analytics to help creators optimize their growth in both areas.
- Oversee community management for 20k+ creators, balancing personalization with automation to enhance engagement and retention.
- Collaborate across teams, including Tech, Product, and Strategy, to refine creator engagement processes.
- Meet and exceed monthly targets for creator identification, retention, and growth

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field from a tier 1 college
- 3-7+ years in marketing, growth, or product roles.
- Hands-on experience in building and scaling processes from scratch
- Strong problem-solving skills with a resourceful and adaptable mindset
- Startup experience is a plus
- Proven leadership ability
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, etc.).
- Exposure to business strategy, brand positioning, and problem-solving frameworks.
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools to track performance metrics
- Experience in community building and influencer relationship management
- Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation, and iterative optimization
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
