Legal Head - Compliances
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Affairs Management: Oversee and manage all legal matters, including litigation, contracts, intellectual property, and corporate governance.
- Acquisitions: Lead and manage legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
- Compliance: Ensure the organizations compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including industry-specific requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks, providing strategic advice to senior management.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to ensure best practices.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the legal team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders as necessary.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on legal matters to the executive team and board of directors.
Qualifications:- Education: LLM or equivalent legal degree from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of legal experience, with at least 7-8 years in leadership roles.
