Legal Counsel

Objectives:

- Ensure uninterrupted legal support and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

- Maintain the quality and timeliness of legal services.

- Mitigate risks associated with regulatory non-compliance and contractual obligations.

Scope of Work:

The temporary legal counsel will be responsible for:

- Tenders (Online and Offline): Managing and reviewing tender documents, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

- Data Privacy Rules and Implementation: Overseeing data privacy policies, ensuring adherence to local and international data protection laws.

- Contract Review: Reviewing and drafting contracts and handling potential disputes to safeguard the company's interests.

- Corporate Secretarial Matters: Handling corporate governance and secretarial duties for India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.

- Compliance Checklist: Drafting and maintaining compliance checklists to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.

- UCMPMD Implementation: Implementing and monitoring the Uniform Code of Marketing Practices for Medical Devices.

- Tracking Regulatory Developments: Keeping abreast of changes in laws and regulations and advising the company accordingly.

- Managing Interactions with External Stakeholders: Coordinating with external legal advisors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
