Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced L&D Specialist to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive capability-building programs that align with our company's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating targeted training initiatives across technical, functional, and leadership areas. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, excellent facilitation skills, and a data-driven approach to measure the impact and ROI of all learning programs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Curriculum Strategy and Program Design
- Conduct thorough training needs analysis (TNA) in collaboration with business/department heads and HR Business Partners to identify key competencies and skill gaps.
- Design and develop comprehensive learning journeys and competency frameworks for various employee tiers, including first-time managers, mid-level leaders, and senior executives.
- Create and customize engaging learning content using adult learning principles, including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, case studies, and experiential activities.
- Ensure all content and learning interventions are practical, relevant, and impactful, mapping them to business priorities such as talent pipeline development, culture change, and strategic agility.
2. Program Delivery & Facilitation
- Lead and co-facilitate flagship in-person and virtual workshops for audiences of 10-50 participants.
- Oversee the end-to-end logistics for all learning programs, including scheduling, communication, content readiness, and post-program evaluations.
- Assist in rolling out learning programs across functional, behavioral, and compliance areas.
- Work closely with department heads and managers to provide tailored learning solutions.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration & Management
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand current and future capability needs and design tailored solutions.
- Partner with senior management to align L&D initiatives with business needs and ensure learning objectives are met.
- Source and manage internal and external subject matter experts
- Build strong relationships with HRBPs and business leaders to secure program sponsorship and alignment.
4. Continuous Improvement
- Gather feedback and analyze data to continuously iterate and improve learning content and program design.
- Prepare and present regular reports to communicate program effectiveness, key lessons learned, and future plans to senior management.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development throughout the organization.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in corporate L&D or leadership development roles, with at least 3 years in managing programs.
- Proven expertise in instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, Kirkpatrick's Model) and strong facilitation skills for diverse audiences.
- Deep familiarity with leadership models and frameworks (e.g., Situational Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Strategic Thinking).
- Experience with end-to-end management of technical learning interventions.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with senior-level stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
