Job Purpose:
As a Lead HR Business Partner (Aviation), you will act as a strategic partner to the business leadership of the airline's operational verticals.you will be responsible for aligning HR strategies with business goals, driving people initiatives, workforce planning, and fostering a culture of performance and compliance in a highly regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for assigned aviation departments.
- Partner with functional heads to drive HR strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead talent management initiatives including workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Support manpower planning and timely hiring in coordination with Talent Acquisition.
- Implement performance management frameworks customized to aviation KPIs and regulatory compliance.
- Handle employee relations, grievance redressal, disciplinary processes, and union/association interactions (if applicable).
- Monitor compliance with DGCA regulations and internal policies affecting employment.
- Develop and execute employee engagement programs tailored to operational staff needs.
- Drive DEI, culture, and organizational change management programs in partnership with HR COEs.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Key Requirements:
- Education: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institute.
- Experience: 10-15 years of HR experience with a strong track record in HRBP roles; experience in the aviation industry is mandatory/preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience handling large-scale workforces including operational and unionized staff.
- Proficiency in HRIS tools and MS Office Suite.
