Lead - Government Sales/Bids & Tendering - Supply Chain Technology Platform

Our client, a leading supply chain technology platform is hiring a Bid & Proposal Expert with hands-on experience in government tenders, especially within PMU (Project Management Units), PMC (Project Management Consultants), and PSU (Public Sector Undertakings) sectors.

The ideal candidate will manage the entire bidding lifecycle-from opportunity tracking to proposal submission-ensuring compliance, competitiveness, and alignment with organizational goals. They are looking for experts in designing projects such as ICT Labs, Smartclass, Solar Projects, CCTV Surveillance system, Smart City Projects or any other IT related projects.

Responsibilities:

- Define and implement bid strategies in collaboration with internal teams.

- Develop win themes, timelines, and action plans for each bid opportunity.

- Lead the creation, review, and submission of high-quality, compliant proposals.

- Ensure proposals are accurate, well-structured, and submitted within deadlines.

- Work with project and finance teams to prepare accurate pricing and cost estimations.

- Ensure financial documents are aligned with bid strategy and client requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. A post-graduate qualification (MBA or similar) is a plus.

- Minimum 8 years of experience in bid/proposal management for government tenders.

- Proven track record with PMU, PMC, and PSU sectors.

- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and public tender regulations.

- Familiarity with GeM, CPPP, e-procurement platforms, and contract structuring.

- High level of precision in documentation, formatting, and compliance checks.
