Roles and Responsibilities
1. Academic Operations
Curriculum Development:
- Align a customized curriculum for all Schools (Nursery to Grade V).
- Set up and manage the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Streamline the academic planning process (Annual Plan -> Tier Plans -> Unit Plans -> Lesson Plans).
Principal Reviews:
- Conduct monthly reviews to track school operations.
- Ensure ongoing monitoring and evaluation of school health and hygiene.
- Address concerns through weekly principal calls.
Academic Collaborations:
- Identify and implement strategic academic initiatives.
Manage partnerships, including:
- Seed 2 Sapling: Curate content, train teachers, create assessments.
- Math and Science Circles: Enhance critical thinking through a 6-month after-school program.
- Karadi Reading: Develop reading kits, train teachers, and provide feedback.
- Art1st Program: Implement an integrated art curriculum for creative learning.
Non-Academic Collaborations:
- Oversee partnerships in music (Furtado's), communication (Gyanasthan), STEM labs (Edutech), and value education initiatives.
Teacher Professional Development:
- Conduct needs analysis and align strategies for teacher training.
Manage training programs, including:
- Universal Design in Learning (Harvard collaboration).
- Prerna Program (Teacher Training Foundation).
- Think Tank Program (STEM-focused pedagogy training).
- CENTA Teachers Olympiads (assessment of teacher competency).
2. Strategy and Finance
Central Function Teams:
- Oversee HR, Admin, Marketing, Tech & IT, and Academic teams.
- Conduct monthly reviews to streamline operations.
Business Strategy and Market Research:
- Develop annual business reviews and financial projections.
- Conduct competitive analysis and financial modeling for new school projects.
School Design and Planning:
- Collaborate on design briefs, optimize infrastructure planning, and oversee compliance.
Alliances and Partnerships:
- Negotiate commercial partnerships and manage long-term collaborations (e.g., Euro School - Upper Thane).
3. Administrative Support
- Review budgets and optimize administrative costs.
- Oversee infrastructure upgrades and vendor management.
- Ensure compliance with annual approvals and renewals.
4. Brand and Marketing
Admission Strategy:
- Plan annual enrolment projections and monitor admission goals.
- Collaborate with the brand team for promotional strategies.
Brand & Media Strategy:
- Develop an annual brand calendar and social media plan.
- Manage PR visibility and rankings with Times Group and Education World.
Brand Assets Management:
- Oversee website content, social media, alumni engagement, uniforms, and book designs.
5. Tech and IT Management
- Implement and oversee IT systems to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage school ERP modules, Google Education Suite, and LMS for performance tracking.
