Lake Shore - Analyst - Investment Management

- We are looking for a motivated Investment Analyst with 3+ years of experience to support our retail and retail-led mixed-use property investment activities.

- The candidate will work closely with the Director of Investments and the Investment Committee, assisting in market research, due diligence, financial modeling, and deal execution to identify and capitalize on acquisition opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and build relationships with potential deal sources, including bankers, brokers, property owners, and developers.

- Prepare investment materials and presentations alongside the Director of Investments for Lake Shore's Investment Committee.

- Conduct market research and analyze retail and mixed-use property markets to identify investment opportunities and gain deep market insights.

- Perform due diligence including lease analysis, competitor review, and coordinate third-party reports such as market studies, cost estimates, financial, and tax analysis.

- Assist in developing operating and capital budgets for owned assets and potential acquisitions.

- Manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for third-party services such as leasing and cost management.

- Build and maintain Excel financial models for potential acquisitions and portfolio performance analysis.

- Support various analytical projects within the Investment Management Group.

- Help prepare reports for ownership and institutional investment partners.

- Participate in the disposition and marketing process of assets slated for sale, coordinating with investment sales bankers and brokers.

- Assist in sales negotiations and closing processes.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, preferably in retail or mixed-use properties.

- Strong financial modeling skills with advanced Excel proficiency.

- Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
