We have a suitable opportunity in the Consumer Products Division for the position of Senior Manager - Business Automation. In this role, you will be responsible for Design, Development and Deployment of Automation tools for the commercial teams. You should have a minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in Business Automation, Commercial Operations, and Project Management.
The location of the job will be Mumbai - HO.-
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and Development:
- Understanding the current state of processes, bottlenecks, and potential for improvement
- Analyzing business processes to pinpoint areas where automation can bring the most significant benefits, such as cost reduction, increased speed, or improved accuracy
- Explore best in class solutions in organizations to identify solutions to improve field force efficiency.
- Evaluating and recommending the best automation tools and platforms for different business needs. This requires staying up-to-date on the latest automation technologies and trends.
Implementation and Management:
- Managing the entire automation lifecycle, from selecting appropriate technologies and vendors to deploying and testing solutions. This often involves collaborating with IT teams and other stakeholders.
- Leading automation projects, ensuring they stay on track and within budget. This includes managing timelines, resources, and communication with project teams.
- Evaluating and selecting automation vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing ongoing relationships. This includes monitoring vendor performance and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)
- Continuously monitoring automated systems to ensure they are performing as expected and addressing any technical issues that arise. This includes implementing performance metrics and reporting on key indicators.
Communications:
- Working closely with different business units and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that automation solutions meet their requirements. This involves effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Leading change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of automation across the organization. This includes addressing employee concerns and providing training and support.
- Providing technical expertise and support to project teams and other stakeholders. This includes troubleshooting issues, providing training, and developing best practices.
- Internal and External Interactions: Commercial teams, tech, external vendors and Zone Stakeholders.

Education: Post Graduate & above
Relevant Experience: Prior experience in DMS, Automation, Project Management in FMCG or Consulting.
