Job Summary:

KPMG Advisory Services Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professionals to join Aerospace, Defence and Space (ADS) practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategy, policy advisory, operations optimisation, transformation projects, and/or government advisory as well as experience of working with a Big4 or a top consulting firm. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a passion for driving impactful change in the ADS sector.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic planning and execution :

- Develop and implement long term strategies aligned with client objectives

- Lead and see multiple strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to goals

- Utilise strategic frameworks to analyse business issues and propose actionable solutions

Strategic leadership and project delivery:

- Lead and manage large scale, complex client engagements, translating business goals into actionable strategy roadmaps

- Oversee end to end project delivery, ensuring alignment with client objectives and timelines

- Utilise strategic frameworks to analyse business issues and propose actionable solutions

Client relationship management

- Act as a primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships

- Understand client needs and tailor strategies to address specific challenges

- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders effectively

Business development and practice growth

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing revenue growth

- Represent the firm at industry events, enhancing its market presence.

- Stay current on industry trends and anticipate their impact on client strategies

- Contribute to the development of intellectual capital within the firm

- Share insights and knowledge with clients and colleagues to foster culture of continuous learning.

Team leadership and development

- Lead, mentor and develop the team of consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment

- Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional growth

- Oversee project teams, ensuring timely and effective delivery of project objectives.

Qualification and skills:

- Educational background: MBA /Master's degree from a tier 1 /Tier 2 institution.

- Experience: 8-10 years of experience in management/ business consulting/strategy / operations / policy / govt & public sector advisory; Experience in aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, defence and/or space sectors is preferred but not mandatory

- Analytical skills: Proficiency in client presentations, data analysis, financial modelling and strategic problem solving

- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly

- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage projects and influence stakeholders
