Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Expert to support procurement activities in alignment with government and multilateral agency standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public procurement, contract management, and familiarity with international procurement guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage procurement processes for goods, services, and works in accordance with applicable government and donor agency guidelines.

- Prepare and review bidding documents, contracts, and procurement plans.

- Ensure compliance with procurement policies of State/Central Government, PSUs, and multilateral funding agencies such as the World Bank and ADB.

- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procurement activities.

- Provide technical support and capacity building to team members on procurement procedures and systems.

- Utilize procurement software and tools for efficient process management.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Graduate degree in Engineering, Economics, or Management disciplines.

- MBA/PGDM with specialization in Contract Management or Procurement is preferred.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in public procurement with State/Central Government or a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU).

- Experience with procurement procedures of multilateral agencies such as the World Bank, ADB, or similar is desirable.

- Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office and procurement software.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of public procurement laws and regulations.

- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Team player with a proactive approach.
