Role - Mid Senior Level

Qualifications:

- Education: Post-Graduation in a field related to Environment & Sustainability.

- Experience: Over 8+ years of experience in ESG and sustainability consulting and/or managing ESG issues in companies.

- Certifications: Specialized sustainability-related certifications/accreditations would be an added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Support ESG STR: Develop and implement Environmental Due Diligence (EDD), Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD), Environmental and Social Impact
Assessment (ESIA), Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS), and Environmental and Social Action Plans (ESAP) across companies in India.

- Lead Execution: Independently execute Strategy, Transformation & Reporting focusing on ESDD, ESIA, Reporting, and ESMS.

- Team Management: Manage the engagement team and oversee the execution of work related to the service offerings. This includes on-site assessments, secondary research, report preparation, and other tasks as advised by the engagement leader.

- Client Interaction: Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for clients, managing day-to-day engagement requirements and interacting with client representatives.

- Business Development: Proactively support sales and business development by identifying and pursuing business opportunities and closing them as engagements.

- Quality Service Delivery: Consistently deliver quality client services and take charge of assigned project areas.

- Progress Monitoring: Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure key stakeholders are informed about progress and expected outcomes.

Technical Expertise:

- Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge, and the ability to assimilate new knowledge.

- Business Acumen: Stay current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.

- Travel Requirements: The job requires travel to client locations within India and abroad.

The Individual:

- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of business processes and risks related to ESG material topics, including regulatory compliance (CPCB, MoEF, IFC performance standards, Factories and Labor regulations).

- Reporting Standards: Strong understanding of reporting standards such as BRSR, GRI, TCFD, SASB, UNPRI, GIIL, etc.

- Implementation Experience: Experience in developing and implementing ESMS and ESAP.

- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of ESG regulations in India and global markets.

- Industry Experience: Experience across various industries (Pharma, Chemicals, Electronics, IT, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Private

Equity, Venture Funds, NBFC, Healthcare, etc.).

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of advanced data analytical tools being an advantage.

- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including presentation skills.

- Teamwork: Ability to work well in teams.

- IT Skills: Understanding of IT systems and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

- Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure with stringent deadlines and tough client conditions, which may require

extended working hours.

- Travel Willingness: Willingness to travel within India or abroad for extended periods.
