KPMG - Ease of Doing Business - Government & Public Sector
- KPMG India is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ease of Doing Business Expert to join our Economic Growth practice.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ease of Doing business professional with experience of working for National and State Governments, ministries, and department/ international agencies/PSUs for one of the projects in the Government and Public sector.
- This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to network effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and execute assigned business projects on behalf of clients (recruiting, payroll, promotional campaigns etc.) according to client's requirements.
- Meet with assigned clients when needed and perform an initial assessment of a problematic situation
- Collect information about the client's business through a variety of methods (shadowing, interviews, surveys, reading reports etc.)
- Formulate recommendations and solutions with attention to a clients wishes, capabilities and limitations forming concise reports
- Present findings and suggestions to clients with ample justification and practical advice
- Develop detailed business plans to drive small or radical changes
- Collaborate with government agencies, private sector entities, and multi-lateral clients to facilitate investment opportunities.
- Assess competitive footprints and recommend innovative solutions based on emerging trends.
- Network with internal and external stakeholders, industry professionals, and stay informed about sector performance in India and globally.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and other documentation to support investment promotion activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Ease of Doing Business, with a focus on driving economic growth and development
- Experience in projects related to Ease of Doing Business/Investment Promotion/ Business Reforms/ Business Process Reengineering
-15 years of work experience, preferably with the Government at State/Central level, with expertise in trade/economics, data analysis, and investment & trade promotion/facilitation.
- Experience working on assignments with various government, private sector, and multi-lateral clients.
- Strong ability to drive key accounts and assess competitive footprints.
- Ability to recommend new solutions based on emerging trends and client needs.
- Excellent networking skills with internal and external stakeholders.
