Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned and customer-centric Territory Head with 10-12 years of sales experience in industrial lubricants or related fields. The ideal candidate will be a Graduate Engineer in Mechanical or Chemical engineering, capable of leading the sales and business development for our GIT HI East territory. This role is crucial for driving revenue, managing a loyal customer base, and strategically implementing sales initiatives for both the Klber and OKS brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales & Business Development: Achieve planned sales forecasts for both Klber and OKS brands by developing and implementing a robust Heavy Industry strategy. You will focus on all market segments to ensure desired growth and work to increase prices where appropriate.
- Customer & Channel Partner Management: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining a loyal customer base through excellent technical support and relationship management. You will work hand-in-hand with all channel partners in the area, supporting them to achieve business growth.
- Technical Expertise & Value Selling: Inculcate a culture of Value Selling within the team and area. You will leverage technical knowledge to focus on Energy efficiency projects, sustainability, and digitization, and organize customer seminars and tech days.
- Sales Process & CRM Discipline: Ensure the CRM Opportunity pipeline is adequately filled. Maintain strict CRM discipline by sufficiently documenting customer visits, work schedules, call reports, and new opportunities. You will also monitor marketing-generated leads to maximize conversions.
- Team Collaboration & Communication: Effectively communicate with cross-functional departments, including CSS, Logistics, Q&A, Finance, and Production, to ensure all sales and service commitments are met. You will motivate and train channel partners' engineers to support business growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate Engineer in Mechanical or Chemical with 10-12 years of sales experience in industrial lubricants, MRO products, welding electrodes, bearings, or other industrial fields.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Strong technical knowledge, communication, negotiation, and sales planning skills.
- Experience in building and managing relationships with both direct customers and channel partners.
- Excellent motivation, process management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with OEM sales and leveraging relationships to secure placements on lube charts.
- A background in organizing and delivering technical seminars or training sessions.
- Familiarity with sales forecasting software or specific CRM tools beyond basic entry.
