- Categories: Kitchen essentials, healthy snacks, beverages
- Channels: D2C website, 8 retail stores (scaling to 35), Zepto, Blinkit, Instamart, Amazon, Flipkart
- Specialty: Corporate gifting, subscription kits, and regional flavor innovation
Featured on Shark Tank India Season 4, Episode 5, we are scaling our D2C vertical 10x and need a strong KAM to lead this mission.
Role Overview:
This is a revenue-owning, full-stack D2C growth role. You will be responsible for driving website sales via Meta Ads, Google Ads, and WhatsApp/Email Retention (via Bitespeed or Klaviyo) while owning the entire P&L of the D2C channel.
You'll collaborate with performance marketers, content/design teams, and product ops to grow traffic, improve conversion, and drive repeat purchases.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):
Own the D2C Revenue & P&L:
- Drive topline growth across new and returning customers
- Monitor CAC, AOV, LTV, ROAS, and payback period
- Improve gross margins through conversion-focused merchandising and bundling
- Weekly reporting on channel health and growth levers
Performance Marketing (Meta & Google Ads):
- Plan and execute paid campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Google Search, Shopping & YouTube
- Test creatives, audiences, and landing pages to optimize CAC and ROAS
- Collaborate with design & content for performance-first assets
- Run funnel-wide campaigns (awareness, consideration, conversion, remarketing)
Retention Marketing (WhatsApp, Email, SMS):
- Manage Bitespeed or Klaviyo to drive retention and reorders
- Build lifecycle automations (welcome, reorder, cart abandon, birthday, win-back)
- Segment customers by RFM, behavior, and LTV for precision campaigns
- Run monthly calendar of broadcasts and product storytelling flows
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
- Analyze website heatmaps, user journeys, and drop-off points
- Optimize product pages, checkout flow, and homepage UX
- A/B test copy, offers, CTAs, and placement for conversion lifts
- Monitor Google Analytics (GA4) and event flows for decision-making
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):
Who Should Apply?
- 5 to7 years in D2C growth, performance marketing, or eCommerce management
- Proven track record in Meta & Google Ads with high-scale budgets (3L30L/month)
- Hands-on with Shopify, GA4, Bitespeed, Klaviyo, or WebEngage
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset able to track metrics & optimize real-time
- Prior experience in FMCG, wellness, beauty, or lifestyle D2C brands is a big plus
