Job Role & Responsibilities:
- As a Company Secretary, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements while managing corporate governance processes. Your key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with corporate laws, regulatory frameworks, and statutory requirements.
- Managing and organizing board meetings, including preparing agendas, drafting minutes, and maintaining accurate company records.
- Facilitating communication between the board of directors, shareholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Advising the management on corporate governance, legal risks, and regulatory matters.
- Handling secretarial audits, filing annual returns, and maintaining statutory books and records.
- Ensuring adherence to legal policies, risk management strategies, and corporate ethics.
- Managing confidential information and ensuring data security in legal documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or Company Secretaryship.
- Membership with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) (preferred).
- Strong understanding of corporate laws, compliance, and governance.
- Experience in conducting board meetings and maintaining corporate records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage confidential matters with integrity.
