Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.


Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in account management, sales, or business
development with the Rail or Heavy Equipment industry. Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:


- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients
in the Rail industry. Serve as the main point of contact and ensure high levels of customer
satisfaction.


- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and
challenges. Develop and implement strategies to meet their needs and align with company
goals.

- Sales & Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts. Drive revenue growth by promoting company products and services tailored to the end customers.

- Contract Negotiation: Understanding of Government Tender/Bid process, Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms. Ensure that agreements are compliant with company policies and client expectations.

- Project Management: Oversee the delivery of products and services to clients, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate with internal teams to resolve any issues that arise.

- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities. Use this knowledge to provide insights and recommendations for improving client strategies and offerings.

- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics using companys project & customer management tools. Prepare regular reports for senior management on account status, growth opportunities, and key challenges.


Skills:


- Strong understanding of Rail Industry, Selling at Government OEMs like Tendering Process and market dynamics.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level stakeholders.

- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong organizational and project management skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.


Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
