Key Duties
1. Regional Key Account Management & Relationship Building
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for key accounts in Chennai and nearby regions.
- Engage regularly with client stakeholders (Plant Heads, Regional Procurement, Operations Managers, etc.) to understand their needs.
- Ensure timely issue resolution and consistent service delivery in collaboration with on-ground operations teams.
- Conduct quarterly or monthly business reviews with regional clients, focusing on service performance, improvement areas, and local business needs.
2. Regional Insights & Reporting
- Collect service data and customer feedback from regional units to highlight trends and flag concerns to the NKAM.
- Prepare regional account performance reports and assist in developing action plans for service enhancements.
- Monitor NPS, Customer Satisfaction (C-Sat), and other metrics at the regional level and implement corrective actions as needed.
3. Support Growth and Retention Initiatives
- Identify upselling, cross-selling, and renewal opportunities within the assigned accounts.
- Support execution of customized account strategies and ensure alignment with national goals.
- Work closely with sales and service teams to deliver value-added solutions and build long-term partnerships.
4. Internal Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate with internal teams including service delivery, logistics, finance, and operations to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular updates and account health reports to the NKAM.
- Support compliance with contract terms, SLAs, and service commitments.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5-8 years of experience in key account management, client servicing, or operations in a B2B service environment.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
- Analytical mindset with experience using service and satisfaction metrics.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
- Fluency in English and Tamil.
