Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our agriculture sales team. This role involves achieving sales targets, developing sales strategies, managing the sales pipeline, and overseeing team performance to meet company sales objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, an in-depth understanding of the agriculture market, and experience in both B2C and B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies for the agriculture sector.
- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure targets are met.
- Prepare sales and MIS reports for management.
- Address product, pricing, and delivery-related queries from the sales team.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, providing feedback to enhance performance.
- Align team efforts with company sales goals.
- Analyze sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage the sales budget and report on sales activities.
- Achieve the sales target.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in agricultural sales, with at least 23 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the agriculture market (pesticides, fertilizers, etc.).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
