
Manager/Senior Manager - Event Sales
Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing strategic sales plans for the Events and Catering department to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities for events and catering services within the luxury hotel segment.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, corporate accounts, and event planners to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate closely with operations, catering, and convention services teams to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.
- Utilize strong banquet knowledge to advise clients on event capabilities, menus, and logistics.
- Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and contract documents in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to adapt sales approaches accordingly.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using MS Office applications, email communication, and hotel management systems such as Fidelio, Delphi, or RESERVE.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Event Sales Manager within a luxury international brand hotel.
- Solid understanding of selling techniques and banquet operations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong computer literacy, with experience in relevant software systems an asset.
- Results-driven mindset with a customer-focused approach.
