Job Description:
This is for an automotive company base in Pune for the position of IT Consultant -KAM -RFQ.
As a Digital Transformation Manager you will be responsible for leading and implementing digital initiatives across various functions including HR, Purchase and Supply Chain, Production Planning, Quality Control, Smart Factory, RFQ Management, and Key Account Management.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, efficiency, and productivity through digital solutions.
This role requires a deep understanding of both digital technologies and the intricacies of the automobile industry.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Design and Architecture: Develop innovative digital solutions and architectures tailored to meet the specific requirements of each function and aligned with business objectives and industry trends.
- Utilize your expertise in IT systems and technologies to design scalable, robust, and integrated solutions.
- Digital Needs Assessment: Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, Purchase and Supply Chain, Production Planning, Quality Control, Smart Factory, RFQ Management, and Key Account Management functions to assess digital needs, identify pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Purchase and Supply Chain, Production Planning, Quality Control, Smart Factory, RFQ Management, and Key Account Management teams to identify digital opportunities and implement solutions to streamline processes and enhance performance.
- Technology Evaluation and Selection: Evaluate and recommend digital tools, platforms, and technologies that align with business objectives and deliver value to the organization.
- Conduct thorough assessments of vendor solutions and provide recommendations based on business requirements.
- Implementation and Integration: Lead the implementation and integration of digital solutions across various functions.
- Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and integration with existing systems.
- Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure digital solutions to meet the unique needs of each function.
- Develop workflows, interfaces, and integrations to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within various functions.
- Develop actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Project Management: Manage digital transformation projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to achieve project objectives.
- Change Management: Provide guidance and support to teams during the transition to new digital solutions.
- Develop change management plans, training materials, and communication strategies to facilitate adoption and acceptance of new technologies.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with digital transformation initiatives, including cybersecurity threats, data privacy concerns, and operational disruptions.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of digital initiatives.
- Continuously monitor performance and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
- Communicate effectively to gain buy-in and support for digital transformation efforts.
- Quality Assurance and Testing: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of digital solutions.
- Identify and address any issues or bugs in a timely manner.
- Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Create comprehensive documentation, user guides, and training materials to support the ongoing use and maintenance of digital solutions.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to empower internal teams to effectively utilize new technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in digital transformation, preferably in the automobile industry or related sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing digital initiatives across multiple functions.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies such as SAP systems, IoT, AI/ML, data analytics and cloud computing.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align digital initiatives with business goals and objectives.
- Proficiency in risk management, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
