- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our client's Asset-Backed Strategies (ABS) Team within the Research Group in India.

- This role will focus on Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) and Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Loans, supporting the Global ABS Front Office in driving key investment decisions.

- As part of this team, you will play a critical role in investment research and strategy, conducting in-depth analysis of CMBS and CRE loans to identify profitable opportunities.

- You will work closely with the trading desk, providing data-driven insights that directly influence proprietary investment activity in the ABS markets.

What You'll Do:

- Investment & Credit Analysis - Conduct detailed research on CMBS and CRE loans, including property/bond valuation, cash flow modeling, and market trend analysis.

- Financial Modeling & Data Analytics - Build bespoke financial models, analyze investment opportunities, and conduct relative value assessments for potential trades.

- Research & Idea Generation - Develop innovative, data-driven investment strategies that can be converted into high-value trades.

- Market Monitoring & Risk Assessment - Track existing investments, assess risks based on market movements, and provide timely recommendations to the trading desk.

- Collaboration with Global Teams - Work closely with the Front Office in the USA to execute research-driven investment strategies in the CMBS space.

Who You Are:

- We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial modeling skills who thrives in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.

What You Bring: Finance degree (MBA) or equivalent qualification - Strong academic credentials in finance, real estate, or structured products.

- 5+ years of experience in financial research, with a focus on CMBS and CRE investments.

- Strong research & analytical skills - Ability to generate investment ideas and translate them into actionable trading strategies.

- Financial modeling expertise - Proficiency in cash flow modeling, valuation techniques, and structured finance analysis.
