JOB PURPOSE
The purpose is to contribute to the investment decision making process in venture Investing and in external venture funds at BFS Ventures.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Evaluate Business ideas and build the foundation of selection decision by conducting market research, deep dive in to new industry sectors, due diligence of proposed opportunities.
- Able to perform financial analysis and modelling and interpret company data and financial data to help investment team make investment decision
- Scout for potential investment opportunities and build up strong investment case, conduct financial due-diligence, draft recommendations and portfolio review notes. Track the performance of portfolio companies and monitor their quarter-wise performance and yearly performance. Portfolio Monitoring activities include evaluation of financial budgets, key projects etc.
- Assist in managing and analyzing the portfolio. Responsible for identifying new opportunities along with tracking the existing portfolio
- Track and prepare notes on funds and Investments that we will invest in
- Track disbursements, maintain cash flow statements to monitor expected drawdowns, dividends and return of capital.
- Assist in analyzing the portfolio. Contribute to financial due-diligence, drafting recommendations, presentations and portfolio review notes
- Conduct an in-depth sector analysis overlooking current trends, development, and players in the market, outlining potentially interesting investment areas
- Monitor financial and non-financial risks related to investments and market
- Able to understand and interpret various regulatory compliances
- Assist in coordinating and implementing projects within the Group. Work with CIOs on projects directed by President-Investments
- Protect the firm's assets and public image
MAJOR CHALLENGES
- Project management: Will often work on multiple projects simultaneously. He/She must be able to organize and manage their time to complete all projects in time

Internal Clients

- Maintain relationships with Investment teams as well as other departments in the Group - especially the teams of the President IT and Head-Web sales BAGIC, Chief Information and Digital Officer BALIC and Head-CEO's Office BALIC.
