Job Description

Hyderabad Global Real Estate team supports real estate team, in coordination with ex-India colleagues, support functions by providing timely and high-quality client reports for Institutional/ Retail Clients; the candidate will focus on developing, managing and executing operational processes and tasks in support of Global Real Estate teams. Other qualifications and requirements given below:

Key Responsibilities

- Handle the significant rise in state and federal tax notices, addressing issues caused by more entities, longer government response times, and errors.

- Support the Dallas tax managers by taking on lower-risk items, allowing them to focus on higher-value tasks.

- Serve as a dedicated resource for Private Markets tax, becoming fully engaged once trained on relevant structures and processes

- Allocate additional time to Real Estate transactions, focusing on sales and REIT testing due to increased fund activity

Work Experience / Knowledge:

- 2 to 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, real estate, fund administration

- Ability to understand new transitioned activities, co-ordinate with onshore counterparts for any clarifications and deliver as per their expectations.

- Relevant experience related to Real Estate property accounting, fund accounting is an advantage

- Must have strong interests in developing a career in the financial markets

- Ability to review peers work and provide feedback

- Excellent accounting, analytical and problem solving skills

- Highly adaptable, flexible and forward-thinking; result oriented

- With high learning ability and positive curiosity

- Independent; the ability to take on responsibility as a team member

- Expertise in Advanced Excel/Macros is an advantage.

- Identifying and implementing automation opportunities.

- Excellent communication skills. Fluency in written and verbal English

- Open minded, flexible, and willing to listen for other peoples opinions.

- Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate over the phone with a variety of individuals at all technical levels are required.
