Job Summary:
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting operations, including financial reporting, ERP and Tally management, reconciliations, budgeting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial statements, experience with ERP systems and Tally, and the ability to work independently. This position requires a one-time trip to India every two years, with all travel expenses covered by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and finalize Profit & Loss (P&L) accounts, balance sheets, and other financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to management.
- Utilize ERP systems and Tally for accurate and efficient accounting operations.
- Manage and maintain financial data within ERP and Tally systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to ERP and Tally.
- Perform regular reconciliations for bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other key financial records.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budgeted figures and provide variance analysis. -
- Ensure adherence to all local and international financial regulations, including tax filings, audits, and other statutory requirements.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal departments, external auditors, and other stakeholders for audits and financial reporting.
- Liaise with banks and other financial institutions.
- Maintain and organize all financial records, ensuring proper documentation and accessibility.
