Business Development Manager - Software Sales
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through , networking, and client referrals.
- Develop a deep understanding of client requirements and position our software solutions to address business challenges.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and client meetings to showcase solutions effectively.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business and account growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, and Technical) to deliver customized client solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM tools.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 4 to 8 years of proven experience in software sales, IT solutions sales, or enterprise technology sales.
- Strong knowledge of software products, SaaS solutions, or IT consulting services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and CRM platforms (Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, etc.
- Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment.
Good to Have:
- Previous experience in B2B or enterprise-level software sales.
- Established client network within IT/software/consulting sectors.
- Experience in handling large accounts and long sales cycles.
- Understanding of cloud technologies, SaaS, ERP, or digital transformation solutions
