Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Implementation:

- Lead the design and configuration of Oracle Tax Reporting Cloud Service (TRCS) to meet specific client requirements.

- Develop and implement tax automation solutions within the TRCS platform, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.

- Configure and customize TRCS components, including data integration, calculation logic, reporting, and security.

- Develop and maintain documentation related to system design, configuration, and testing.

Business Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

- Conduct thorough business requirements gathering sessions with clients to understand their tax - reporting processes, challenges, and objectives.

- Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for TRCS implementation.

- Identify and document gaps between client requirements and standard TRCS functionality, proposing and implementing appropriate solutions.

Tax Expertise and Compliance:

- Apply excellent functional knowledge of tax provisioning and tax reporting processes, including a strong understanding of IAS 12.

- Stay abreast of current tax regulations and reporting standards, including OECD Pillar II and CbCR, and ensure solutions are compliant.

- Provide expertise and guidance to clients on tax-related functionalities within TRCS.

Client Engagement and Communication:

- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation process.

- Lead solution demonstration sessions to showcase TRCS capabilities and address client queries.

- Develop and deliver effective user training materials and conduct training sessions.

- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to clients post-implementation.

- Maintain clear and concise communication with internal and external stakeholders, including project status updates and issue resolution.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

- Plan and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Identify, track, and resolve defects and issues during the testing phase.

- Ensure the quality and accuracy of the implemented TRCS solution.

Project Management and Leadership:

- Manage individual tasks and contribute to the overall project plan.

- Potentially lead small to medium-sized implementation workstreams.

- Proactively identify and escalate potential risks and issues.

- Collaborate effectively with other team members, including technical developers and project managers.

Continuous Learning and Development:

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle TRCS features, functionalities, and best practices.

- Participate in relevant training and certifications to enhance technical skills and domain knowledge.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field MBA preferred.

- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in implementing and configuring Oracle Tax Reporting Cloud Service (TRCS) or Hyperion Tax Provision (HTP) is mandatory.

- Excellent functional knowledge of tax provisioning and tax reporting processes, particularly IAS 12.

- Strong understanding of tax reporting requirements, including awareness of OECD Pillar II and CbCR.

- Proven ability to lead business requirement gathering sessions and translate them into technical specifications.

- Experience in delivering solution demonstrations and providing user training.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets) and PowerPoint.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

- Confident and assertive with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Willingness and flexibility to travel for short-term and long-term assignments to GCC Countries based on project needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong understanding of tax principles.

- Prior experience working on onsite projects in the GCC region.

- Knowledge of other Oracle EPM modules, such as Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC), Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS), and Narrative Reporting (NRC).

- Experience with data integration tools and techniques relevant to TRCS.
