In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in guiding and managing the full lifecycle of Oracle Fusion Finance implementations. You will leverage your deep understanding of financial processes and Oracle Fusion capabilities to analyze client requirements, design robust solutions, and ensure seamless project execution. This is a remote position offering the flexibility of working from home while contributing significantly to our clients' success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership and Management: Lead and manage end-to-end Oracle Fusion Finance implementation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This includes planning, organizing, and monitoring project activities.
- Client Engagement and Requirement Analysis: Conduct in-depth customer requirement analysis workshops and sessions to understand their business processes, challenges, and objectives within the finance domain.
- Solution Design and Configuration: Translate business requirements into effective and efficient Oracle Fusion Financials solutions. Configure the Oracle Fusion applications, specifically focusing on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Cash Management (CM), and Fixed Assets (FA) modules.
- Functional Design Documentation: Prepare comprehensive functional design documents, including process flows, configuration specifications, data migration strategies, and integration requirements.
- Testing and Validation: Develop detailed test scripts (unit, system, and user acceptance testing) to validate the configured solutions. Assist the technical team in understanding functional requirements and provide clarifications as needed during development and testing phases.
- Collaboration and Communication: Effectively collaborate with technical consultants, developers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of the Oracle Fusion solution. Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Knowledge Sharing and Mentoring: Share your expertise and best practices with team members. Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of internal knowledge assets.
- Staying Current: Keep abreast of the latest Oracle Fusion Financials features, updates, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of professional experience as a Functional Consultant in Oracle Fusion implementation projects.
Oracle Financial Applications Expertise: Deep functional proficiency and hands-on configuration experience in core Oracle Financial applications, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- End-to-End Implementation Experience: Proven experience in leading and participating in at least 5+ full lifecycle Oracle Fusion implementation projects, from initiation to go-live and post-implementation support.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to understand complex business requirements and translate them into practical Oracle Fusion solutions.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Consulting Skills: Demonstrated ability to conduct workshops, facilitate discussions, and build strong client relationships. -
- Self-Motivation and Independence: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Experience with other Oracle Fusion modules (e.g., Procurement, Expenses).
- Knowledge of data migration tools and methodologies.
- Experience with integration technologies relevant to Oracle Fusion.
- Relevant Oracle certifications.
- Experience in a Lead or Solution Architect role.
