Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Oracle EPM Lead to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in the Oracle EPM Cloud/Hyperion suite, coupled with proven pre-sales expertise.
This role will be instrumental in driving business growth by engaging with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs, architecting innovative solutions, and leading the delivery of successful EPM implementations.
The Oracle EPM Lead will be a key point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and ensuring the successful delivery of EPM solutions that meet their business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales & Business Development:
- Lead end-to-end pre-sales activities, including understanding client requirements through RFI/RFP analysis, conducting discovery workshops, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop comprehensive technical solutions, including solution architecture, data flows, integrations, and reporting strategies, leveraging the Oracle EPM Cloud/Hyperion suite.
- Create detailed project scope definitions, resource plans, and accurate cost estimates for proposed solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to clients across various industries, effectively articulating the value proposition of our EPM solutions.
- Lead the development and execution of RFP responses, collaborating and coordinating with Sales, Delivery, Practice, and other internal teams to ensure comprehensive and compelling submissions.
- Build strong relationships with prospective clients, acting as a trusted advisor and understanding their strategic goals and challenges.
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives to expand our Oracle EPM footprint.
Solution Design & Implementation Leadership:
- Leverage deep functional and technical knowledge of Oracle EPM Planning and Financial Consolidation to design and implement robust and scalable solutions.
- Lead and guide implementation teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, project timelines, and budget constraints.
- Provide expert guidance on the configuration and customization of Oracle EPM modules to meet specific client requirements.
- Oversee data migration and integration activities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of implemented solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and functional issues related to Oracle EPM implementations.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the pre-sales and implementation phases.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their evolving business needs and providing ongoing support.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage client expectations and ensure client satisfaction throughout the engagement.
Practice Development & Knowledge Sharing:
- Contribute to the development of our Oracle EPM practice by identifying emerging trends, best practices, and innovative solutions.
- Drive the creation of a comprehensive knowledge repository, including reusable artifacts, methodologies, and templates.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their growth and development within the Oracle EPM domain.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle EPM product updates, features, and roadmap.
- Participate in internal training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Mandatory: CA or MBA in Finance.
- Mandatory: Minimum 10+ years of overall experience in the field of Oracle EPM Cloud/Hyperion Suite of products.
- Mandatory: Minimum 2 years of experience in end-to-end Pre-Sales activities (requirement gathering, solution design, scoping, costing, proposal development).
- Mandatory: Proven experience in leading and delivering a minimum of 5+ end-to-end implementations of Oracle EPM Planning and Financial Consolidation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to confidently present solutions and recommendations to clients at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a consulting-oriented approach to finding the best solutions for client business needs.
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet software (using financial formulas and creating complex spreadsheets) and presentation software (PowerPoint).
- Confident and assertive with a proactive and results-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the GCC Countries.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior onsite project experience in the GCC region.
- Knowledge of other Oracle EPM modules such as Profitability and Cost Management, Account Reconciliation, Tax Reporting.
- Understanding of Statutory and Management Reporting processes.
- Experience with data integration tools and techniques relevant to Oracle EPM
