Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Divisional Head to lead our operations in Patna, Bihar. This full-time, on-site role will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the division, ensuring the successful rollout of smart meter infrastructure, efficient management of consumer data, and effective coordination of AI/ML-based analysis within the region. The Divisional Head will play a crucial role in building strong relationships with state utilities, driving service delivery excellence, and leading a high-performing team to achieve organizational objectives while adhering to regulatory and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership and Management:

- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the division in Patna, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of smart meter deployment and data management.

- Develop and implement operational plans and strategies in alignment with the overall organizational goals and objectives.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take necessary actions to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

- Ensure adherence to established processes, policies, and quality standards across the division.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

- Contribute to the development of the overall strategic direction for IntelliSmart and translate it into actionable plans for the Patna division.

- Drive the implementation of strategic initiatives related to smart meter rollout, consumer data management, and AI/ML-based analysis within the division.

- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Management and Liaison:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, particularly state utilities in Bihar, to ensure effective collaboration and enhance service delivery.

- Act as the primary point of contact for the Patna division, representing IntelliSmart in interactions with utility partners and other relevant stakeholders.

- Proactively address any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders and ensure timely and effective resolution.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of professionals within the Patna division, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and innovation.

- Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.

- Identify training and development needs for team members and facilitate opportunities for professional growth. -

- Ensure effective communication and coordination across different teams within the division.

Smart Meter Infrastructure Rollout:

- Oversee the planning and execution of smart meter infrastructure deployment projects within the Patna division, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

- Monitor progress, identify potential risks and challenges, and implement mitigation strategies.

- Ensure efficient logistics, installation, and commissioning of smart meters.

Consumer Data Management and AI/ML Analysis:

- Oversee the efficient and secure management of consumer data collected through smart meters.

- Coordinate with relevant teams to facilitate AI/ML-based analysis of consumer data to generate valuable insights for utilities.

- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure that all operations within the Patna division comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

- Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to processes and procedures. -

- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on operations.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

- Foster a culture of innovation within the division, encouraging the exploration and adoption of new digital solutions and technologies.

- Continuously seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

- Leadership and Management Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively, including setting goals, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and motivating team members to achieve results.

- Strategic Planning and Project Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic plans, managing complex projects, and ensuring successful outcomes within defined timelines and budgets.

- Experience in Smart Metering, Digital Solutions, and Power Distribution: In-depth understanding of smart metering technologies, digital solutions relevant to the power sector, and the overall power distribution landscape in India.

- Ability to work with AI/ML-based analysis and Consumer Data Management: Familiarity with the application of AI/ML techniques in the utility sector and a strong understanding of consumer data management principles and practices.

- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact and build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including utility personnel, team members, and senior management. -

- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, develop effective solutions, and make sound decisions.

- Familiarity with Regulatory and Compliance Requirements: Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory and compliance framework governing the power distribution sector and smart meter deployment in India.

- Ability to Lead and Mentor a Diverse Team: Experience in leading and mentoring a diverse team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related), Management, or a related field.

- Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in a relevant field is preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in the power distribution sector, with a significant focus on smart metering and digital solutions.

- Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a similar role, preferably within the utility sector or a related industry.

- Experience in managing large-scale infrastructure deployment projects is highly desirable.
