Industrial Engineering Lead

Position: IE Lead

Location: Vadodara

Purpose of the Role:

Responsible for leading the Industrial Engineering function at the Limda Plant. The role will focus on driving global IE KPIs by collaborating with plant manufacturing and HR leadership to ensure productivity, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the IE team on Equipment Capacity, Headcount Planning, Productivity Measurement & Enhancement, and MHE based on product mix.

- Manage projects on Productivity Improvement, OEE Enhancement, and Headcount Optimization.

- Drive program management.

- Support in Union negotiations by providing data-driven insights.

- Lead team development through TNI (Training Needs Identification) and capability-building initiatives.

- Spearhead system development and digitization initiatives in line with Industry 4.0 requirements.

Skills & Expertise:

Strong working knowledge of Industrial Engineering tools and techniques, including:

- Time & Motion Study, MMO, SWCS, SMED, VSM, Layout Planning

- Strong project management and program management capabilities.

- Ability to engage with leadership and unions effectively.

- Strategic thinking with hands-on implementation skills.

Candidate Profile:

- Experience: 15+ years in Industrial Engineering within the Tyre / Auto / Auto Ancillary sector.

- Education: Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering (preferred) or minimum B.Tech with relevant certifications.
