Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Finance to lead our financial operations and guide fiscal decision-making. This role is responsible for overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, and risk management. The ideal candidate will serve as a key advisor to senior leadership and play a critical role in shaping the financial future of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

- Advise the CEO and executive team on financial planning and risk mitigation

- Lead long-term financial forecasting and scenario modeling

Financial Operations & Reporting

- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards

- Manage internal controls and financial audits

Budgeting & Forecasting

- Lead the annual budgeting process across departments

- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements

Risk Management & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate policies

- Assess financial risks and implement mitigation strategies

- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies

Team Leadership & Development

- Manage and mentor finance team members

- Promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement

- Build capacity through training and performance management

Stakeholder Engagement

- Maintain relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions

- Present financial insights to board members and shareholders

- Support fundraising, M&A, and investment initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

- CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles

- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, IFRS/GAAP, and corporate finance

- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial modeling tools

- Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to international finance and multi-currency operations

- Track record of leading digital finance transformation or automation projects

- Familiarity with ESG reporting and sustainability metrics
