The global average is 20%. 1 in 4 urban Indian households that have taken unsecured loans took them to cover medical expenses and this trend is expected to only increase in the coming years.

The CarePal group came into existence to provide financing solutions that bridge the Out of Pocket Expense Needs of Middle Class Indians. The CarePal Group's vision is to build India's first and largest integrated healthcare financing ecosystem.

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-caliber Product Manager with experience in fintech or healthcare lending domains. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end product ownership,

working closely with tech, analytics, and leadership teams to build scalable, intuitive lending products.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and iteration.

- Collaborate with development/tech teams for seamless API integrations with NBFCs, credit bureaus, and healthcare platforms.

- Analyze product funnels and metrics to drive optimization and growth.

- Define and track KPIs to measure product performance.

- Work closely with the founders to align on product vision and business priorities.

- Conduct market research, user feedback loops, and competitor benchmarking.

- Build user-centric financial products for unsecured lending and healthcare finance.

Requirements

- 3+ years of product management experience in fintech, NBFC, healthcare finance, or B2C lending.

- Degree from a Tier-1 Engineering Institute (IIT, BITS, NIT, etc.).

- Proven experience with API documentation, integration flows, and collaborating with tech teams.

- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in numbers, funnels, and dashboards.

- Prior experience working in fast-paced startups or directly with founders.- Good understanding of the lending ecosystem: LOS, LMS, risk, underwriting, and credit flows.

Nice to Have

- Exposure to healthcare ecosystem or hospital partnerships.

- Understanding of lending regulations, RBI norms, KYC, and compliance.

- Experience with low-code tools or rapid prototyping platforms.
