Job Purpose: The role bearer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's compensation structures and policies. The focus is on ensuring fairness, compliance, and competitiveness in pay, while aligning compensation practices with business objectives and regulatory norms in the NBFC/home loans industry.
A Head - Compensation role involves leading the strategy and execution of an organization's total rewards programs, encompassing base salary, variable pay, and equity plans, to ensure competitive and cost-effective remuneration aligned with business goals and market benchmarks.
Key responsibilities - Include managing annual compensation processes, ensuring statutory compliance, partnering with cross-functional teams, and utilizing data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Design and manage competitive compensation structures and benefits programs, including base pay, variable pay, and long-term incentives.
- Process Management: Oversee annual compensation planning, including performance reviews, incentives, promotions, and equity recommendations.
- Data Analysis & Benchmarking: Conduct market surveys and benchmarking to ensure programs are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance, legal, and HR systems teams to develop and implement compensation philosophies, programs, and policies.
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead a team of compensation experts in building and delivering innovative and data-driven compensation programs.
Educational Qualifications: Graduate / Post-Graduate in HR, Finance, or related field. Preferred: MBA/PGDM with specialization in HR/Finance.
