Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Solar Sales Manager to lead our B2B and project sales initiatives across both commercial and residential sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling solar solutions, including rooftop systems, photovoltaic (PV) panels, and ground-mounted installations. This role demands a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge, capable of driving sales growth and fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

B2B Sales

- Identify and engage potential B2B clients, including commercial, industrial, educational, and governmental organizations.

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.

- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and financial models tailored to client needs.

- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and project financing options with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

- Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.

Project Sales (Commercial & Residential)

- Target and secure solar projects in both commercial and residential sectors, focusing on rooftop, PV panels, and ground-mounted systems.

- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine optimal solar solutions for clients.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate system design and feasibility assessments.

- Oversee the sales process from initial inquiry to contract closure, ensuring a high conversion rate.

- Provide post-sales support and address any issues or concerns promptly to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.

- 4+years of experience in B2B sales, with a minimum of 3 years in the solar energy sector.

- Proven track record of successfully selling solar projects, including rooftop, PV panels, and ground-mounted systems.

- Strong understanding of solar technologies, system design, and project financing models.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to travel as required to meet clients and oversee project sites.
