Work Experience: 6-8 years of HR Operation & Recruitment experience

Relevant Work Experience: 6+ years

Educational Qualifications: Any Graduate / Post-graduate (Preferably in HRM)

Hughes Precision was incorporated in 2016 for the manufacture of Defence Equipment.

It has the worlds fastest and most accurate ammunition inspection system available.

It is a high-speed comprehensive inspection system that detects all critical defects according to MIL-STD-636 for small caliber and MIL-STD-651 for medium caliber ammunition and components.

We have set up a highly advanced facility for small-caliber ammunition, in Verna Industrial Estate, Goa, India.

The facility is spread over 8000 sq.

Meters and has an In-house test facility and range.

We are looking for a Manager HR Generalist with experience in HR Operations & Recruitment for our organization.

This position will report to the MD.

Roles And Responsibilities

- You will be responsible for HR Operations, employee engagement & process design across the employee lifecycle including recruitment, performance management, compensation & rewards, and payroll.

- The role exercises consistent judgment & discretion with work directly related to company policies & the operations of the business.

- You will have to work with employees and support them throughout their lifecycle.

- You will be accountable for ensuring compliance, maintaining turnaround time & ensuring that company standards are met on an ongoing basis.

- In this role, you are required to solve routine problems, largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines.

- Overall management of all HR Ops activities complete employee lifecycle-from Onboarding to payroll to exit process; issue letters & record keeping.

- Sourcing and recruiting as per the hiring plan from various sources/job boards.

- Conduct Induction and Joining formalities.

- HRMS updation & addition/deletion of employees on the insurance coverage.

- Leave & Attendance Management.

- Payroll inputs collation (attendance/salaries/new-joiners/leavers, etc) for salary processing.

- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.

- Maintained historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system, and keeping past and current records.

- Performance Management appraisal data & forms collation; prepare and issue salary revision letter.

- Monitoring & reporting of key HR metrics (Weekly & Monthly Reports).

- Timely interaction & communication with internal employees & stakeholders.

- Employee communication.

- Conduct employee 1:1s; interaction with Leads & Managers.

- Grievance handling/ conducting HR Helpdesk.

- Organize company events.

- Conduct or participate in internal or external audits.

- Ensure Labour law compliance for the site.

- Miscellaneous activities as allocated by your reporting manager.

Experience, Qualifications & Prerequisites

- 6+ years of experience in managing HR operations & recruitment in a Plant-Based / Manufacturing Company or Factory Set-up.

- Graduation/ Post Graduation.

- Stakeholder management.

- Critical thinking skills, strong analytical skills.

- Strong verbal & written communication skills in English and Local Language.

- Should be able to work independently or under little supervision.

- Well-versed with MS Office/HRIS/ Labour law legislation.

- Knowledge on GreytHR HRIS Software will be an added advantage.
