Job Purpose:
- The primary function of the Operations Manager is to oversee and optimize daily operational activities across multiple departments, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company standards.
- The ideal candidate will possess a sharp business acumen, a proven track record of successfully managing diverse teams, and a strong ability to implement and improve operational processes to maximize organizational effectiveness. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of driving performance within a time-sensitive environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Maintain constant and effective communication with managers, team leaders, and staff across departments to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all company activities.
- Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality assurance protocols and standards to ensure consistent high-quality output and service delivery.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement within existing processes and procedures, and develop and implement strategies to enhance the company's internal capacity and operational efficiency.
- Project Management: Ensure that all operational activities and projects remain on schedule, within budget, and meet established performance targets.
- Resource Management: Track current and future staffing requirements, proactively identify gaps, and initiate requests for recruitment and onboarding as needed, ensuring adequate resource allocation across departments.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, motivate, and support a large and diverse team within a fast-paced and demanding environment, fostering a positive and productive work culture. This includes providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to team members.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Manage the collection and analysis of operational data to update key performance indicators (KPIs), track progress towards productivity targets, identify areas for improvement, and ensure the delivery of excellent customer service.
- Budget Management: Conduct regular budget reviews, monitor expenditures, and report cost plans and variances to upper management, ensuring operational activities are cost-effective.
