
Looking for Bangalore based HR Leader (HR Business Partner) for a Shared services client in Bangalore
- We are looking for a seasoned HR Leader (HR Business Partner) with strong experience in managing end-to-end HR functions, preferably in a startup environment.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working closely with US stakeholders and overseeing HR operations across the APAC region.
- We're seeking a people leader who has led teams of 15 or more, with exceptional communication skills & the ability to influence across levels.
- We're keen on someone who has grown within an organization & handled the full spectrum of HR-including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement & compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HR Strategy for India: Build and implement India-specific HR strategies that align with both global and regional goals-covering the full employee lifecycle from hiring to exit.
- Partner with Business Leaders: Work closely with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy to support business growth.
- Collaborate with Global HR Teams: Liaise with Regional Centers of Excellence for smooth execution of hiring, onboarding, rewards, and retention initiatives.
- Enable Talent Growth: Drive leadership development, succession planning, and career growth frameworks for employees across levels.
- Enhance Employee Experience: Create a positive work culture through employee engagement programs, regular feedback systems, and diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
- Handle Employee Relations: Manage employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and ensure disciplinary processes comply with Indian labour laws.
- Drive Change & Innovation: Lead change management efforts and champion a culture of agility and continuous improvement.
- Ensure Compliance & Safety: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and legally compliant workplace environment.
- Policy Governance: Ensure all HR policies and practices align with local labour laws and the organization's global standards.
- Use Data for Decisions: Track key HR metrics and use insights to improve employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
- Trusted HR Advisor: Act as a sounding board for India leadership and global HR teams, offering strategic counsel on people matters.
- External Stakeholder Management: Engage with legal advisors, external partners, and government bodies when needed.
- Be a Brand Ambassador: Represent the company in internal and external forums to strengthen the employer brand and promote a compelling employee value proposition.
